I’m going to try and keep this post on the shorter side.
I’ve been a metalhead ever since the age of 8. For over 15 years, I’ve listened to various heavy metal bands and gone to see some of them live in concert. I love the crowd and atmosphere of metal shows! The intensity of the music, coupled with the mosh pits – it’s a never-ending source of fun for me. So, it was really tough to see some gigs and festivals postponed due to COVID.
Well, I want to show the bands and the wider metal scene some support. My personal goal for 2022 is to attend as many metal concerts as I can to help the community recover after the impact that COVID made. I’ll be going to various festivals and concerts and talking about them here. I hereby declare 2022 to be the Year of the Mosh!
In addition, I would like to give a massive thank you to my friend RoyPoneage (follow him on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVyL5zmLP13QtdYxHa4g5rA) and Twitch: (https://www.twitch.tv/tpgroy_poneage). Roy is a great friend of mine that I met during college and I reached out to him to design my logo. I absolutely love the work that he did and will use it as my permanent logo. If you would like something commissioned, you could reach out to Roy and see if he would be willing to take your commission request.
Apart from that, I look forward to sharing my experiences from all of the concerts I plan to attend in the future – and believe me, I have got quite a lot planned for 2022. So raise your horns, bang your head, and get into the pit. Let the year of the mosh begin!
